Founded by photographer Jake Bryant, Envirofoto.com specialises in photographic coverage of environmental science research for academic institutions, NGO’s and film production companies. The core purpose is to deliver high quality, interactive visual content for global outreach.
“Leading environmental researchers deserve to be supported with professional imagery. From photography, through post-production to distribution, I produce high resolution digital images, 360-degree immersive panoramas, and time-lapse photo-films. The focus is to disseminate research through exhibits, projected digital animations, and web based media. As a professional photographer working in situ, I seek to accurately document each field campaign I cover, by producing images with visual impact. I can work to a specified brief, or on my own, in both film and digital. My approach is nonintrusive, capturing peek moments of cutting edge scientific field research. To have photographed the many researchers I have worked with so far, has been an absolute pleasure. I thank all those who have helped me become involved in such interesting work. Especially my wife, Cecilia, who is currently reading for DPhil at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) Wallingford and The University of Oxford.”
